Week 2: Chiaroscuro
is an art term derived from the Italian words "chiaro" (meaning "light") and "scuro" (meaning "dark")

It refers to the use of strong contrasts between light and shadow to create a sense of volume, depth, and drama in a composition.

This technique helps define the form of objects or figures, making them appear more three-dimensional.
